2010 is going to be a big year for the Edath Chronicles. Over the last few months we have taken a long hard look at the future expansions and, well, this is what you can look forward to in the coming months.
War Unleashed
The companion book to War for Edath not only provides background material on the world of Edath, its history, its species, its warring factions, the supernatural - including magic - but also contains rules for variants of the game that really open things up.
The Art of Battle
No longer will your battles be restricted to a single row of terrain cards. Now you'll be able to manoeuvre your troops around a battlefield of terrain several rows deep. The Art of Battle fully realises the tabletop wargame experience.
Scenarios
The Art of Battle allows for numerous and varied scenarios. You can expect to see these being posted regularly to Warriorelite's website. You'll find common ones such as 'Take the Hill' and some more unusual ones as well.
The Art of the Champion
In the heroic tales, champions can turn the tide of a battle. With The Art of the Champion, your Combat Masters come into their own and can not only be used in the manner you're familiar with but can also change the result of a round - yes, turn a loss into a win.
The Art of the Champion is much more than rules for making the most of your Combat Masters - these are the rules that will be used for all future games from chases to races to hunts and so on.
The Nuko Warring Faction
Conflict Unleashed
The companion book to The Art of Conflict, Conflict Unleashed pulls together all the rules relevant to the cards that make up The Art of Conflict plus a few new games including the joust and multi-player games.
Unit Magic
The first form of magic to affect your games will be Unit Magic. This is magic that regular troops can perform but only when the unit works it together. Think of Unit Magic as a ritual performed by a group to bring about a magical effect but the group is the unit of troops led by the Battle Master and the 'ritual' is performed in battle - war chants, gestures and the like.
Unit Magic is specific to the warring factions - i.e. the effect of Unit Magic performed by the Ang is completely different to that created by the other warring factions.

The Art of the Wildsman
The next major release will concentrate on the Wildsmen - scouts. Guerrilla warfare. Laying and disarming traps. Beasts. Dangerous, living, terrain. The Vaechi and their magic. Warbeasts. Wildsman magic. The Underearth . . . maybe.
Edath Unleashed
So as you can see there is a lot for you to really get stuck into. Over the coming months I will delve deeper into each release and what it has to offer for you.
